Takahiro Hachigo is the new CEO of Honda and has worked at the company for 30 years. He started in 1978 as a chassis R&D engineer, and he worked on the original NSX, one of his claims to fame.

So, with a history like that, you’d think that he’d have a garage full of great performance metal. Instead, he used to own an Accord and an Odyssey. And now, he has no car.

It’s weird to think that the CEO of one of the world’s largest and most successful automakers doesn’t own a car, but his mission at the company is a noble one. Hachigo wants Honda to make fun cars, which is why he loves the new S660 roadster and is a fan of the Civic Type R.
