Siasia, who spoke to journalists after meeting with the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Abuja yesterday hinged his decision on Iheanacho currently on rampage with his Premiership side on the short period of time before the return leg, adding that it is only reasonable to rely on the same players who played the first leg in Port Harcourt.
He also declined to give a hint on his approach to the game insisting that he will only work hard to see that the Dream Team gets the desired result which will qualify the country for the African qualifying championship in Senegal later in the year.
“Due to the short time before the game, there will be no need to bring some players who are playing abroad because you can never be sure of their coming. We have good players who can give us the game,” he noted
On whether he is under any form of pressure following the slim 2-1 win over Congo, Siasia said: “No, I am not under any pressure because all through my career, I have never been. Also talking about this particular game, I am very optimistic of playing well and winning the game.”
