President Muhammadu Buhari has given ordered to the Department of State Services to strengthen
it’s intelligence gathering capability in order to stop the state of suicide bombing in the midst northern
part of the country.
It would be recalled that since President Buhari took oath of office, more than six hundred persons have been killed by Boko Haram mostly through suicide bombing in different cities in the midst northern parts of the country.
Worried by the development, President t Buhari summoned Lawal Daura to the presidential Villa and reportedly told him to stop the suicide bombing in the country.
A source at the DSS who was privy to the encounter told Vanguard in confidence that the president told the directo General of the service that he appointed him to reposition the service and not to play politics.
“The president t told the DG that he was appointed to provide intelligence on how to stop the killings by the Boko Haram terrorists not to engage in politics. The president was very stern with the DG on his expectations and we believe that the pressure will be extended to personnel very soon” the source who does not want his name in print said
